Jobbernowl was a South Florida band circa late 80's, early 90's that featured Omar, the original bass player for "Quit". They were only around for a few years, but they pumped out several great releases. Enclosed in the zip file below is their "My Sight 10 inch" from Dr. Strange Records, and their 12 song Cassette only LP titled "Static Head", that I believe was self released.Some notable tracks to get your first taste of Jobbernowl are "Regret" from the 10" and "Changed My Mind" from Static Head, which shows off Omar's awesome and catchy slap bass technique. If you dig Big Drill Car, ALL, or Brown Lobster Tank, you'll probably appreciate these guys.
